About

“I really enjoy helping people achieve their financial goals as I find it very rewarding. I offer easy to understand financial solutions based on my clients needs. I am often recommended to friends, family and businesses as a trusted provider of financial advice. I believe that everybody has the right to build a financial plan to ensure that their family and future is secure and I feel it’s a privilege to be trusted to help with this goal”

Following seven years living abroad, Liz returned to the UK in 2014. She joined St. James's Place in 2015 as a Partnership Development Manager working with start up businesses in the Academy programme.

Establishing Liz Maudsley Financial Planning has enabled Liz to focus on building relationships as a trusted adviser with her clients. Her warmth and openness means that clients quickly feel at ease and feel comfortable with asking any questions that they might have about the wealth management process. Taking the jargon and confusion out of discussing financial planning is a valuable part of the service provided by Liz and the team.

"I really love the element of my business that is focused on building relationships with my clients. I have been very fortunate to work with some wonderful people over the years and I am proud that I have contributed to many clients achieving their financial goals. It is particularly rewarding working with different generations and succession planning for younger members of the family".

Liz’s wide ranging expertise includes:

Investments – How do you make your money work for you in the best way?

Retirement Planning - Are you on track financially to enjoy your retirement?

Protection - How secure are your financial plans?

Inheritance Tax – What can be done to pass the maximum amount of wealth to your family?

Liz also provides two key specialist areas within her practice:

Promoting Financial Awareness Education in schools.

Working with year 9-13-year old students to help them understand and manage their finances Liz teaches an important life skill for students approaching further education or entering the workplace.

Financial Well-being For Women

Women face some unique challenges in planning for their financial future: These include the gender pay gap and the fact that women are more likely to deviate from their career paths by taking time off to raise children or care for ageing parents. A lack of time and confidence to take control of their own finances, can mean that financial planning falls to the bottom of a to do list. This can have a dramatic impact on future prosperity.

Liz has created financial sessions that focus on educating women on how to create and build a financial life plan to suit their changing circumstances and meet their individual goals.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds selected and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than the amount invested.
